The Calendula Facial Soap is a face and body soap with rich oils, shea butter, and calendula flowers.

It is excellent for dry and stressed skin. This mild soap is based on pure plant oils such as olive oil, coconut oil, and sunflower oil. Goat milk and shea butter provide rich care and preserve the skin's natural moisture.

Calendula flowers have anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties for skin damage, for example from sun exposure. The finely ground flowers also act as a gentle facial scrub. Essential lavender oils smooth the skin and have antibacterial effects.

The 100% natural facial soap is made using a cold process and is based on purely natural ingredients. Without synthetic fragrances, colorants, preservatives, or mineral oil-based raw materials. A soap without "nasties" in plastic-free packaging.

Usage

• Ideal for daily facial and body cleansing.
• Lather the soap well and wash the face with the foam.
• Then rinse the face thoroughly with lukewarm water.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Also suitable as a shaving soap.
• Continue facial care with a serum, a natural facial oil, moisturizer, a care product for the eyes, lip care or night care.

Active Ingredients

• The calendula flowers are recommended by Commission E and ESCOP for external use in skin inflammations and wound healing. They can also alleviate skin damage, for example caused by UV light. Calendula is the central ingredient of our mild Calendula Facial Soap.
• Olive oil was already used in ancient Greece to care for dry skin. It is considered to promote circulation and stimulate. Olive oil has a high oleic acid content, which provides a protective and moisturizing function. The oil leaves a light film and is absorbed gradually by the skin. Therefore, it is excellent for dry and brittle skin. Olive oil is one of our base oils for soap production.
• Shea butter is obtained from the nut of the karité tree. The rich butter cares for the skin through its re-fatting, soothing, and smoothing properties. Therefore, the butter is recommended for dry and stressed skin. Shea butter is a consistency agent for the mild Binu soaps.
• Cleopatra is said to have used goat milk for her body care. Goat milk has a high content of vitamins A, C, B1, and D, as well as the minerals calcium, zinc, and potassium. Goat milk is an ingredient of our Calendula Facial Soap.
• In folk medicine, lavender is used for poorly healing wounds. Various essential lavender oils are processed in our Calendula Facial Soap.
• Coconut oil – also called coconut fat due to its solid consistency below 23 °C – is obtained from the flesh of the coconut. Coconut oil is very rich in lauric acid and saturated fatty acids. Lauric acid has a strong antimicrobial effect. The oil absorbs quickly and superficially while providing good re-fatting. Coconut oil is one of our base oils for all Binu soaps.
• Sunflower oil is obtained from the seeds of the flower. The oil has a high linoleic acid content and is a light and mild caring oil. Sunflower oil is one of our Binu base oils.
