The metal clip in French barrette style holds hair sections together at the back of the head and is suitable for all hair types. Coucou Suzette was founded in 2016 by Parisian illustrator Juliette Mallet. The label transforms flowers, animals, fruits, and familiar everyday motifs into colorful accessories with humor and a distinctive eye for detail. The designs are created in the brand’s Paris office, combining playful imagery with wearable favorite pieces for every day.

What is cellulose acetate?

The combs and hair accessories from Coucou Suzette are made from cellulose acetate. Unlike plastic, resin, or synthetic materials, this material is based on natural and renewable raw materials such as the pulp of fruits and vegetables. Cellulose acetate is produced by reacting cellulose with acetic acid. This relatively new raw material is 100% plant-based and free from animal by-products.

The material is a high-end raw material for premium accessories because cellulose acetate is extremely durable due to its quality and robustness. Cellulose acetate is resource-efficient, environmentally friendly, resilient, not easily broken, and made from renewable, natural, and sustainable raw materials.

We carefully process and pack your order at our warehouse in Reutlingen. Orders are usually processed within 48 hours. Once your order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information. After handover to DHL, delivery within Germany usually takes 1–3 business days.

Shipping costs €4.95; orders over €60 ship free within Germany.

We ship international orders with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium, depending on the destination country and parcel size. Available shipping methods and costs are shown at checkout. Delivery times depend on the destination country, the selected shipping method, and customs processing.

Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we can provide a return label for €5.95 upon request. Returns from abroad must be arranged and paid for by the customer.

We carefully pack your order at our warehouse in Reutlingen. Our shipping boxes and greeting cards are made from recycled paper. We use packing peanuts made from cornstarch instead of Styrofoam as filler. Our paper-based packing tape can also be disposed of with waste paper.
