The difference starts with the base: Organic aloe vera juice, rather than water, is the first ingredient in the formula. Aloe vera moisturizes the skin and has a pleasantly soothing effect. It is combined with plant-based glycerin as well as coconut, apricot, and avocado oils, which provide the skin with valuable lipids and keep it soft and supple.

Cocoa and shea butter give the new formula more nourishment without making it heavy. Dry or dehydrated skin in particular gets exactly what it often lacks: moisture and replenishing lipids—without the typically rich film of a body butter.

The glow is also part of the new product character. The combination of aloe vera and nourishing plant oils smooths dry skin and leaves arms and legs looking soft, healthy, and naturally radiant.

How to use

• Apply to clean, dry skin in the morning and/or evening and massage in gently. Reapply to dry areas as needed.
• Especially pleasant to use directly after showering, while the skin still retains a little moisture.
• For even richer care, mix two drops of Glory Oil with the Body Milk.
• The Body Milk is also suitable for use alongside Eco by Sonya self-tanners. Regular moisturizing helps keep the skin supple and allows the tan to fade more evenly.
• Before applying a self-tanner such as Invisible Tan, particularly dry areas such as the knees, elbows, and ankles can be lightly moisturized.

Active ingredients

• Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice / Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract) is obtained from the water-rich leaves of the desert plant. Depending on processing and concentration, the inner leaf gel contains, among other things, moisture-binding polysaccharides, amino acids, minerals, enzymes, and antioxidant plant compounds. Aloe vera intensely moisturizes the skin and helps retain water in the horny layer. The plant juice forms a light film on the skin, reduces feelings of tightness, and supports the natural skin barrier. Its cooling and soothing properties alleviate visible redness and provide rapid relief for overheated, irritated, or sun-stressed skin. Aloe vera is therefore especially suitable for dehydrated, sensitive, and irritation-prone skin, as well as for products used after sunbathing or shaving.
• Glycerin (Glycerin), also known as glycerol, is a natural component of the skin and one of the most established moisturizers in cosmetics. This sugar alcohol has a strong ability to attract water and bind it in the horny layer. As a result, glycerin increases the skin’s moisture content, reduces dryness, and creates a smoother, softer, and more elastic skin surface. It also supports the natural barrier function and the even shedding of dead skin cells. Particularly dry, sensitive, or stressed skin affected by cleansing and environmental factors benefits from glycerin-containing formulas. In creams, glycerin is often combined with replenishing lipids that help preserve the bound moisture in the skin over the long term.
• Coconut oil (Cocos Nucifera Oil) is a solid plant oil with a high proportion of lauric acid and other medium-chain fatty acids. It forms a protective lipid film, reduces water loss, and makes dry, rough skin soft and supple. Virgin coconut oil also has antioxidant and inflammation-modulating properties and can support the barrier function of stressed skin. In hair care, coconut oil penetrates the hair fiber comparatively well, reduces protein loss, and protects lengths and ends from dryness and breakage. • Apricot kernel oil (Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil) is obtained from the kernels of ripe apricots. This lightweight plant oil contains a high proportion of oleic and linoleic acids, as well as naturally occurring tocopherols. Its fatty acids smooth the skin’s surface and supplement the lipids of the natural protective barrier. Apricot kernel oil therefore helps reduce moisture loss and makes dry or rough skin soft and supple. It spreads easily and leaves a velvety, well-cared-for skin feel. Apricot kernel oil is especially suitable for dry, dehydrated, and sensitive skin, as well as for products designed to protect the skin from drying out. In hair care products, it smooths the hair surface and gives dry lengths greater suppleness and shine.
• Shea butter (Butyrospermum Parkii Butter) is obtained from the kernels of the fruits of the West African shea tree. It supplements the lipids of the natural protective barrier, reduces moisture loss, and makes dry, rough, or flaky skin soft and supple. The fruit extract moisturizes, soothes stressed skin, and smooths a rough skin surface. Avocado is therefore especially suitable for dry, mature, sensitive, or barrier-impaired skin. Its rich care softens the appearance of dryness lines and supports a smoother, more elastic-looking complexion. In hair care, avocado oil forms a protective layer around the hair fiber, smooths the cuticle, and reduces friction. This makes dry and brittle lengths more supple, easier to comb, and shinier. Existing structural damage cannot be permanently repaired, but the hair is protected from further drying and breakage.
• Vitamin E refers to a group of fat-soluble antioxidants; in cosmetics, tocopherol and tocopheryl acetate are used in particular.
