The nourishing base follows the proven formula of the 017 Lip Balm Almond / Coconut. Sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, and coconut oil keep lips soft and supple, while beeswax helps lock in moisture. Peppermint oil and menthol add an intense feeling of freshness. In a small user study involving 23 people, 96% confirmed an immediate cooling sensation. The generous 14-g stick provides up to 900 applications.
Key active ingredients
- Sweet Almond Oil: This particularly gentle plant oil is rich in oleic acid and linoleic acid, as well as natural tocopherols and phytosterols. It intensely nourishes dry, rough lips, supplements their natural lipid barrier, and helps reduce moisture loss. Lips feel soft and supple again.
- Jojoba Oil: This liquid plant wax contains valuable wax esters that resemble the skin’s natural lipids. It supports the protective lipid barrier, locks in moisture, and smooths delicate lip skin. Thanks to its high oxidative stability, jojoba oil is also particularly well suited to nourishing balm formulations.
- Coconut oil: Rich in saturated fatty acids, particularly lauric acid, coconut oil provides intensive replenishment and leaves dry, chapped lips feeling soft. It forms a fine lipid film that reduces moisture loss and contributes to the lip balm’s smooth, creamy texture.
- Beeswax: The natural wax forms a protective, supple film on the lips and helps retain existing moisture. It protects against dryness, especially in windy, cold, and dry conditions. At the same time, it gives the balm its firm stick form and helps the care adhere well to the lips.
- Peppermint oil & menthol: Essential peppermint oil gives the SOS Lip Balm its clear, refreshing scent. The menthol it contains stimulates the skin’s cold receptors, creating an immediately noticeable, pleasantly cooling sensation on the lips. Its intense freshness makes application a little invigorating ritual throughout the day.

We carefully process and pack your order at our warehouse in Reutlingen. Orders are usually processed within 48 hours. Once your order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information. After handover to DHL, delivery within Germany usually takes 1–3 business days.
Shipping costs €4.95; orders over €60 ship free within Germany.
We ship international orders with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium, depending on the destination country and parcel size. Available shipping methods and costs are shown at checkout. Delivery times depend on the destination country, the selected shipping method, and customs processing.
Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we can provide a return label for €5.95 upon request. Returns from abroad must be arranged and paid for by the customer.
We carefully pack your order at our warehouse in Reutlingen. Our shipping boxes and greeting cards are made from recycled paper. We use packing peanuts made from cornstarch instead of Styrofoam as filler. Our paper-based packing tape can also be disposed of with waste paper.
