Since 2016, Coucou Suzette has delighted with colorful, humorous accessories from Paris. The designs capture everyday moments, nature, and nostalgic inspirations and reinterpret them with a playful twist. Especially the distinctive hair accessories made of acetate have given the brand cult status in the international beauty community. Each creation is unique – slight color variations arise from the individual grain of the cellulose acetate used.

What is cellulose acetate?

The combs and hair accessories from Coucou Suzette are made from cellulose acetate. Unlike plastic, resin, or conventional plastics, this material is based on natural, renewable raw materials such as the pulp of fruits and vegetables. Cellulose acetate is created through a reaction with acetic acid. This relatively modern raw material is fully derived from renewable, plant-based sources and is free of animal components.

As a high-quality high-end material, cellulose acetate is especially suitable for durable accessories because it is very robust due to its high quality and stability. The material is resource-efficient, environmentally friendly, and resilient, does not break easily, and is made exclusively from renewable, natural, and sustainable raw materials.

We carefully process and pack your order at our warehouse in Reutlingen. Orders are usually processed within 48 hours. Once your order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information. After handover to DHL, delivery within Germany usually takes 1–3 business days.

Shipping costs €4.95; orders over €60 ship free within Germany.

We ship international orders with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium, depending on the destination country and parcel size. Available shipping methods and costs are shown at checkout. Delivery times depend on the destination country, the selected shipping method, and customs processing.

Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we can provide a return label for €5.95 upon request. Returns from abroad must be arranged and paid for by the customer.

We carefully pack your order at our warehouse in Reutlingen. Our shipping boxes and greeting cards are made from recycled paper. We use packing peanuts made from cornstarch instead of Styrofoam as filler. Our paper-based packing tape can also be disposed of with waste paper.
