The Anima Mundi Complete Ylang Ylang Essential Oil is steam-distilled from the fragrant yellow flowers of Cananga odorata. Ylang-ylang has a lush, tropical-floral fragrance with creamy sweetness, slight fruitiness, and delicate spicy nuances. The designation “Complete” is particularly significant: Ylang-ylang distillation produces different fractions with distinct fragrance profiles. While the early “Superior” fraction is especially sweet and popular in perfumery, Ylang-ylang Complete combines the different distillation phases. This creates a rounder, more complex oil with the flower’s complete aromatic spectrum.

Ylang-ylang has also long been used in botanical skin and hair care. The oil is traditionally valued for its balancing character, especially for combination and rather oily skin; hair and scalp oils also benefit from its intense floral fragrance. For use on the skin, the pure essential oil must always be diluted.

Ylang-ylang is one of the most sensual floral fragrances in aromatherapy. The intense scent initially seems lush and exotic, but develops a soft, warm depth. Traditionally, it is especially appreciated for moments centered on relaxation, creativity, closeness, and emotional warmth.

Ylang-ylang harmonizes beautifully with bergamot, grapefruit, and sweet orange, as well as with lavender, patchouli, sandalwood, and vetiver.

How to use

Add a few drops to a diffuser or a suitable aroma stone.
Always dilute sufficiently with a suitable carrier oil for massage or body oils.
Use only very sparingly and well diluted for the face and hair care.
For an aromatic bath, first mix with a suitable carrier oil or bath additive.
Store protected from heat and direct light.

Do not apply undiluted ylang-ylang essential oil to the skin. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. If you have sensitive skin, test on a small area first. Do not ingest. Keep out of reach of children.

Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we can provide a return label for €5.95 upon request. Returns from abroad must be arranged and paid for by the customer.

We carefully pack your order at our warehouse in Reutlingen. Our shipping boxes and greeting cards are made from recycled paper. We use packing peanuts made from cornstarch instead of Styrofoam as filler. Our paper-based packing tape can also be disposed of with waste paper.
