The Rahua Enchanted Island Vegan Curl Butter is a rich leave-in treatment for waves, curls, and tightly coiled hair. The concentrated, creamy texture combines intense moisture with definition and flexible hold, allowing your natural curl pattern to shine beautifully—without a stiff or sticky finish.

Shea butter, Rahua oil, Morete oil, and pomegranate oil intensely nourish dry lengths and help retain moisture in the hair. Aloe vera, guayusa, guava leaf extract, and vegetable glycerin complement the formula with hydration and antioxidant-rich botanicals. The tropical fragrance blend of guava and coconut makes application a small self-care ritual.

The rich formula is especially suitable for curls prone to dryness, frizz, or a lack of definition. Rahua oil is rich in omega-9 fatty acids and supports a smooth, shiny feel. Shea butter helps retain moisture in the lengths and makes dry or rough-looking curls feel softer.

Morete oil and pomegranate oil complement the treatment with valuable fatty acids and antioxidant-rich botanicals. Aloe vera, guayusa, and guava leaf extract help the hair look fresh and well cared for. Biotin complements the formula for lengths that appear stronger and more resilient, while kaolin and sugarcane molasses support structure, shape, and controllable hold.

Active ingredients

• Rahua (Ungurahua): Women in the Amazon have used the oil from this tree nut for many centuries to care for and strengthen their hair. It strengthens weak and damaged hair, nourishes and maintains the health of the hair follicles and scalp, and its ultra-fine molecules penetrate deep into the hair shaft’s pigmentation, significantly extending color retention. The skin benefits from its abundant supply of omega-9 fatty acids, which firm and soothe and restore the scalp’s natural moisture balance. Rahua uses Symbiotic® Ungurahua.
• Pomegranate seed oil (Punica Granatum Seed Oil) contains the rare omega-5 fatty acids (punicic acid). These fatty acids have powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The oil helps combat free radicals and premature skin aging, may reduce age spots, and supports collagen synthesis and thus skin regeneration and repair. It also contains secondary plant compounds such as flavonoids, polyphenols, and phytosterols, all of which have powerful regenerative effects.
• Biotin (vitamin B7 or vitamin H) – The body needs this vitamin to produce keratin. The fibrous protein keratin is an important building block for shiny hair, healthy skin, and strong nails. Biotin is also said to stimulate hair growth and help with hair loss.
• Guayusa (Ilex Guayusa) is rich in antioxidants that minimize damage from free radicals. The holly plant also contains plenty of vitamin B, which supports healthy hair.
• Buriti oil, also known as Morete oil, is obtained from the fruits of the buriti palm (Mauritia vinifera / Mauritia flexuosa), which is found primarily in Brazil. Buriti oil is characterized by a high concentration of oleic acid, tocopherols (vitamin precursors), provitamin A, and carotenoids, particularly a very high proportion of beta-carotene (five times that of carrots). The nourishing oil has powerful antioxidant properties, supports cell regeneration, and offers light natural protection against UV rays. This potent anti-aging oil cares for the skin and hair and may normalize sebum production.
• Aloe vera extract/juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract/Juice) provides natural moisture, prevents the skin from drying out, and strengthens the natural skin barrier. Aloe vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and essential amino acids. It supplies the skin with oxygen and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. It binds moisture, has a cooling, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial effect.
• Coconut oil (Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil) protects the skin from damage caused by free radicals and premature aging. Its high lauric acid content gives the oil antifungal and antibacterial properties. Coconut oil is comedogenic, but nevertheless helps combat blemishes and is suitable for acne-prone and sensitive skin. It provides moisture and makes the skin soft and supple.
• Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is obtained from the fruits of the karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing remedy. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, the butter protects against environmental damage, binds moisture, combats free radicals, supports cell regeneration, and leaves skin and hair soft and smooth.
