The ODEN Crème Hydratante brings the distinctive signature of the French brand to a wonderfully uncomplicated face cream: plenty of hydration, valuable plant lipids and a deliberately streamlined formula that nourishes the skin without weighing it down.

The water phase is based on French linden blossom water and is complemented by glycerin and hyaluronic acid. Together, they hydrate the skin and help retain moisture. Ceramide NP and squalane simultaneously support the skin's natural lipid barrier and protect against moisture loss.

As is typical of ODEN, the plant oils are also an essential part of the formula here. French plum kernel, hemp and evening primrose oils, along with chia seed oil, provide skin-nourishing fatty acids and impart suppleness without turning the cream into a heavy, rich treatment. This balance makes it a lovely daily moisturiser for dehydrated skin as well as normal, combination or sensitive skin.

The cream contains no added fragrance and no essential oils. What you notice is simply the subtle natural scent of its plant-based raw materials. For dry skin, you can easily intensify the moisturising effect with a few drops of an ODEN face oil.

• French plum kernel oil is a wonderfully soft, supple plant oil and one of ODEN's characteristic raw material qualities. It provides the skin with nourishing fatty acids and supports its lipid barrier while keeping the skin soft and elastic.
• Hemp, evening primrose & chia seed oils complement the cream with a diverse range of essential fatty acids. The oils support the skin's natural protective function and help balance dryness and roughness without giving the cream a heavy feel on the skin.
• Squalane is a particularly skin-friendly, lightweight lipid that blends comfortably into the skin's natural protective film. It reduces moisture loss, improves suppleness and leaves the skin feeling cared for and silky.

How to use

Apply a small amount to the face and neck morning and/or evening after cleansing, and gently massage in.

For more intensive care, a few drops of a suitable face oil can be combined with the cream or mixed directly into it. For additional hydration, apply a hydrating serum beforehand.

Which skin type is the ODEN Crème Hydratante suitable for?
The cream is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. It is particularly pleasant to use on dehydrated, dry or tight-feeling skin, but its lightweight texture also makes it suitable for normal and combination skin.

Is the cream rich enough for very dry skin?
The Crème Hydratante is deliberately formulated to be lighter, focusing on hydration and the skin barrier. If your skin needs more lipids and protection, you can combine a few drops of a suitable ODEN plant oil with the cream.

Does the cream contain perfume or essential oils?
No. The Crème Hydratante contains no added fragrance and no essential oils. A light natural scent may come from the plant oils and floral waters it contains.

What is the difference between the Crème Hydratante and a face oil?
