The award-winning Blue Drops Calming Face Oil is an exceptionally lightweight, sapphire-blue facial oil with Blue Tansy, Blue Yarrow, Jojoba, Kukui and Baobab oils. The anhydrous formula soothes irritated and visibly reddened skin, leaves it soft and supple, and is particularly suitable for normal, oily and blemish-prone skin thanks to its silky feel.

The intense color of Blue Drops comes from the azulene-rich oils of Blue Tansy and Blue Yarrow - not from added color pigments. The blue botanical oils are known for their soothing properties and may help make redness and irritation appear less pronounced.

Jojoba, Kukui and Baobab oils serve as the nourishing base. The lightweight oil blend supplies the skin with valuable lipids, supports its natural protective barrier and reduces a dry or rough feel without leaving a heavy film. 

The highly concentrated, anhydrous formula absorbs well and gives the skin a soft, supple and subtly radiant finish. The aromatic floral fragrance combines Ylang Ylang with the characteristic herbal nuances of the blue botanical oils.

Key active ingredients

• Blue Tansy & Blue Yarrow: The intensely blue botanical oils are rich in chamazulene, an azulene derivative with pronounced soothing and antioxidant properties. They help visibly soothe irritated and reddened-looking skin and support a more balanced complexion - particularly beneficial for sensitive, reactive or blemish-prone skin. At the same time, their antioxidant botanical compounds protect against oxidative stress caused by external influences.
• Jojoba oil: This lightweight botanical wax consists primarily of long-chain wax esters, giving it a particular affinity with the skin's natural lipid structure. It strengthens the skin barrier, helps reduce moisture loss and leaves the skin soft and supple without a heavy feel. Combination and oilier skin in particular benefit from its lightweight, easily spreadable texture.
• Kukui nut oil: This fast-absorbing oil is rich in linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids and supplies the skin with essential fatty acids that are important for an intact skin barrier. • Baobab oil: Baobab seed oil provides nourishing fatty acids and antioxidant lipid compounds that keep dry or stressed skin supple and support its natural protective function. It reduces a rough, tight feeling and contributes to a smoother, softer and plumper-looking skin surface. Its antioxidant compounds also complement protection against oxidative stress.
• Vitamin E: This fat-soluble antioxidant protects skin lipids from oxidative processes, complementing the botanical oil composition. It supports the skin's protective function and helps maintain suppleness - particularly useful in an anhydrous, lipid-rich formulation such as Blue Drops.
• Ylang Ylang: This essential floral oil complements the formula with antioxidant botanical compounds and shapes the facial oil's soft floral fragrance. It rounds out the care particularly for combination and oilier-looking skin, without requiring the broader antibacterial or sebum-regulating claims previously used.

How to use

• Apply morning and/or evening to cleansed skin. Distribute a few drops between your fingertips and gently massage into the face, neck and décolleté.
• Adjust the dosage to your skin type:
• Oily skin: approximately 1 drop
• Combination skin: approximately 2 drops
• Dry skin: approximately 3 drops
• For easier application, apply the oil to slightly damp skin or mix it with a facial cream. Allow it to absorb for approximately five to ten minutes before applying makeup.
• For a smoother, more radiant makeup finish, mix one or two drops with your foundation on the back of your hand.
• Avoid contact with the eyes.
