The RAAW Alchemy Calming Blue Balm is a rich multi-balm for the face, lips, and dry areas of the body. Its waterless formula combines soothing Blue Tansy with a vegan lanolin alternative, jojoba, kukui, and evening primrose oils, as well as protective plant waxes. It helps protect the skin from moisture loss, strengthens its natural barrier, and makes chapped or rough areas soft and smooth again.

The balm's extraordinary sapphire-blue color comes from the azulene-rich oil of Blue Tansy and completely blends into the skin when applied. The slightly waxy texture forms a protective care layer and is especially suitable for lips, cuticles, elbows, dry areas around the nose, or skin stressed by wind and cold.

On the face, the balm is suitable as the final step over serum, cream, or facial oil. For particularly dry skin, it can be applied in the evening over RAAW Alchemy Blue Drops and works overnight like a protective care layer. It also protects exposed areas of skin from drying out in wind and cold.

• Blue Tansy: The characteristically blue oil contains chamazulene, an intensely blue plant compound with antioxidant and skin-soothing properties. It helps soothe sensitive, irritated, and reddened-looking skin and supports a more balanced skin feel - especially pleasant for dry areas, rough skin, or skin stressed by cold and external influences.
• Jojoba oil: This lightweight plant wax resembles the natural lipids in the skin in its lipid structure and supports the protective function of the stratum corneum. It helps reduce moisture loss, makes dry and rough skin softer and smoother, and supports a soft, supple skin feel without leaving an unpleasantly heavy greasy film.
• Kukui nut oil: This particularly silky plant oil is rich in linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids and supplies dry, stressed skin with essential fatty acids. It supports the skin barrier, improves suppleness, and helps reduce a rough or tight feeling - ideal for lips, hands, cuticles, elbows, and other dry areas of skin.
• Evening primrose oil: Rich in linoleic and gamma-linolenic acids, evening primrose oil specifically complements the balm's lipid-rich barrier care. Avocado oil makes dry and rough skin softer and smoother and supports its natural protective barrier, while milk thistle oil, with its high linoleic acid content, complements the lipid-rich care. Together, they help keep stressed skin soft and comfortable.
• Vegan lanolin, berry wax & Carnauba wax: The protective lipid and wax complex forms a fine, breathable film on the skin and helps reduce transepidermal moisture loss. This makes the balm particularly suitable as the final step in a routine for dry skin, as protection for lips and exposed areas, or as rich care in cold weather and dry heated air.
• Vitamin E: This fat-soluble antioxidant protects skin lipids from oxidative stress while also supporting the stability of the valuable plant oils. It supports the skin barrier and helps keep dry, stressed skin soft and well cared for.

How to use

• Warm a small, pea-sized amount gently between your fingertips.
• Apply as needed to the lips, hands, cuticles, elbows, or other dry areas of skin.
• On the face, distribute over serum, cream, or facial oil as the final step in your skincare routine.
• For very dry skin, apply over Blue Drops in the evening and leave on overnight.
• Apply a thin layer to exposed areas of skin as protection from wind and cold.
• Allow it to absorb briefly before applying makeup.
