Active Ingredients

• Honey is enriched with a variety of nutrients such as vitamin B, manganese, iron, potassium, and calcium. When mixed with water, honey releases a peroxide property that helps heal acne and inhibits bacterial growth. Additionally, honey is a humectant that provides moisture to skin and hair and supplies a wealth of nutrient-rich enzymes. Adds shine. Also offers light hold when styling hair.
• Rooibos tea with its very high antioxidant content effectively fights free radicals and has proven anti-aging properties.
• Shea butter is derived from the fruit of the karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta carotene, the butter protects against environmental stress, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Essential orange oil is cold-pressed from orange peels. Orange oil has brightening, antibacterial, and astringent effects. This allows it to combat inflammation and impurities, regulate excessive sebum production, and promote a smoother skin texture. In hair and scalp care, orange oil improves scalp circulation, degreases hair, and can reduce dandruff. Orange oil contains limonene, aldehydes, linalool, citronella, citral, terpineol, vitamin C, and geraniol. The scent soothes and uplifts mood.
• Tamanu oil is rich in essential fatty acids and nutrients for regenerating, strengthening, and protecting hair. It is also lightweight and quickly absorbed into hair and scalp without buildup. It is rich in nutrients, vitamins A, B, D, E, protein, and amino acids.
• Hydrolyzed quinoa – known by the ancient Incas as the “mother of all grains,” this gluten-free superfood revitalizes skin and hair. Rich in vitamins and high in amino acids, it inhibits collagen breakdown, supports connective tissue, promotes healing and moisture retention, and reduces signs of fatigue. Strengthens hair’s radiance.
• Beeswax (Cera Flava, Cera Alba) – The wax forms a protective film and thus binds moisture without clogging pores. Beeswax also has mild antiseptic properties and can reduce inflammation. It soothes irritated skin and can even help with eczema. The vitamin A contained in the wax promotes cell renewal and thus counteracts premature skin aging.
• Coconut oil (Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil) protects skin and hair from damage caused by free radicals and premature aging. The high lauric acid content gives the oil its antifungal and antibacterial properties. Coconut oil is comedogenic but still helps with impurities and is suitable for acne-prone and sensitive skin.
