Doppelgänger by Heretic Parfum revolves around the unsettling moment when something seems both unfamiliar and strangely familiar. Like a second self at the edge of perception: a reflection that does not quite match one’s own image.
This delicate sense of uncertainty defines the fragrance. It follows no clearly defined classic structure, instead unfolding in fleeting layers—perceptible, gone again, and unexpectedly returning later, like an echo of one’s own warmth.
At first, cool citrus and a fleeting, almost ghostly aroma drift across the skin. As it develops, soft floral facets and a restrained spiciness return in gentle waves. The base of light woods and diffuse musks remains soft and understated—with a subtle salty, warm, and slightly animalic facet.

An unconventional fragrance for anyone who likes modern molecule perfumes, fine woods, and subtle spice—and is looking for fragrances that do not reveal everything at once.
Heretic Parfum develops unconventional, gender-independent fragrances with a plant-focused signature. Founder and perfumer Douglas Little combines botanical raw materials with selected modern fragrance molecules. The fragrances are made in small batches in the studio in Los Angeles and are allowed to unfold individually over time, warmth, and movement.

GHOSTS – Heretic Parfum x Chelsea Wolfe
Doppelgänger belongs to the GHOSTS Collection, a collaboration between Heretic Parfum and musician Chelsea Wolfe. The five fragrances in the series – Spectral Grace, Ektoplasma, The Veil, Doppelgänger, and Shadow People – engaging with themes of memory, perception, and fleeting presence.
The collection’s fragrances are deliberately designed to be transparent and fluid. Spectral musk notes, light woods, ghostly florals, and delicate animalic nuances emerge, recede, and appear again later.
Within the collection, Doppelgänger embodies the motif of the second self. The soft musk facets reflect human warmth, while light woods provide structure without becoming tangible or fixed. The result is a fragrance that feels familiar yet remains subtly shifted.

Application

We carefully process and package your order in our warehouse in Reutlingen. Processing usually takes within 48 hours. As soon as your order has been handed over to the shipping service provider, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking. After handover to DHL, the shipping time within Germany is usually 1–3 business days.
The shipping costs 4.95€; for orders over 60€, we offer free shipping within Germany.
International orders are shipped depending on the destination country and package size with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium. The available shipping methods and costs are shown at checkout. Shipping time depends on the destination country, chosen shipping method, and customs clearance.
Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we provide a return label for 5.95€ upon request. Returns from abroad must be organized and paid for by the customer.
We package carefully, lovingly, and environmentally friendly. The box, filling material, and greeting card are made from recycled paper, and even the packing tape can be disposed of in the paper recycling bin.
