The Refreshing Foot Balm combines the nourishing properties of shea butter with the cooling freshness of peppermint and the soothing effect of allantoin to revitalize tired feet and give them new energy.

The light texture absorbs quickly and provides intense moisture without leaving a greasy film. Sage and thyme act as deodorants, while zinc oxide protects and soothes the skin. Ideal for daily care and refreshment of stressed feet.

Active Ingredients

• Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is obtained from the fruit of the karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta carotene, the butter protects against environmental stressors, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Potassium Palmitoyl Hydrolyzed Rice Protein (emulsifier with rice proteins) – After penetrating the upper skin layers, hydrolyzed rice proteins support the build-up and repair of the skin barrier, making the skin healthier, more radiant, and smoother. The contained amino acids strengthen the skin’s resilience, improve moisture retention, and promote a smoother complexion. Hydrolyzed proteins are broken down by hydrolysis into smaller peptides (amino acid chains) that can be more easily absorbed by the skin.
• Zinc oxide is a mineral ingredient derived from zinc ore, known for its UV-reflecting and protective properties. Due to its astringent and soothing effects, it is often used as a powder additive, especially for skin prone to impurities.
• Olive oil (Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit / Leaf Oil) moisturizes and provides a soft skin feel. It consists of 85% essential fatty acids with a high content of linoleic acid that supports the skin’s protective barrier. Vitamin E and polyphenols are powerful antioxidants that protect against premature skin aging.
• Comfrey root (Symphytum Officinale Root / Leaf Extract), also known as wallwurz, comfrey, or blackroot, is widespread in Europe and belongs to the borage family. Comfrey has been used in herbal medicine since antiquity. In skin and hair care, comfrey is mainly used for inflammatory and sensitive skin; the plant has strong cell-regenerating and soothing effects and supports tissue regeneration. Comfrey relieves pain and promotes blood circulation and is used to treat wounds, venous disorders, bruises, or hematomas. The root contains allantoin, mucilages, tannins, rosmarinic acid, and alkaloids.
• Carnauba wax (Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax), obtained from the leaves of the Brazilian carnauba palm, is a natural, plant-based wax known for its outstanding emollient properties. It provides a smooth texture and offers a protective, water-repellent film on the skin.
• The candelilla shrub native to Mexico has adapted to the scorching heat of its environment. Its branches and leaves are coated with a wax that protects against moisture loss and environmental stress: candelilla wax (Euphorbia Cerifera (Candelilla) Wax). The wax is used as a consistency and shaping component in cosmetic products. In combination with other oils, it leaves a pleasant, non-sticky skin feel after application. It gives hair shine and smoothness. Candelilla wax is also used in the food industry and can be safely consumed. Along with carnauba wax and berry wax, it is considered a plant-based alternative to beeswax.
• Vitamin E / Tocopherol enables long-lasting moisture retention between cells. This strong antioxidant neutralizes harmful free radicals and can inhibit oil oxidation, preventing blackheads. Vitamin E also promotes cell regeneration and strengthens the natural function of the skin’s protective barrier.
• Allantoin is mainly derived from the root of the marshmallow plant (Althaea Officinalis) as well as from the leaves and roots of comfrey (Symphytum Officinale) and is known for its healing and soothing properties. It promotes cell regeneration, relieves skin irritations, and helps to hydrate the skin, resulting in a smoother and healthier complexion.
• The essential oils of peppermint and spearmint soothe the scalp and remove deposits. Mint has anti-inflammatory effects, helps against itching, and prevents dandruff. It has a cooling effect and stimulates blood circulation.
• Sage (Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Oil / Leaf Extract) acts antiseptic and antioxidant, soothes skin irritations, and reduces redness. It reduces sweating and fights bacteria, fungi, and viruses. The anti-inflammatory plant is also effective in hair care, calming the scalp and combating dandruff.
• (Essential) Thyme oil (Thymus Zygis Oil) – Obtained by steam distillation of thyme flowers and leaves, this oil is a true blessing for skin and respiratory tract. Thyme oil is not only antiseptic but also helps relieve cold and flu symptoms through inhalation. In skincare, it proves to be an effective aid in dealing with acne and skin infections due to its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. Additionally, diluted in a carrier oil, the oil can effectively relieve muscle and joint pain.
