Active ingredients

• Sesame oil (Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil)consists mostly of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids such as linoleic acid and oleic acid. The Oil with lecithin and vitamins E and A removes harmful deposits from the skin, thus reducing signs of premature skin aging. Sesame oil also soothes irritation, reduces redness, and strengthens the skin’s protective barrier.
• Argan oil (Argania Spinosa (Argan) Kernel Oil) is extracted from the kernels of the argan fruit. The unique argan trees grow only in southwestern Morocco. This antioxidant- and vitamin-rich oil is used in skin and hair care. Its high fatty acid content (linoleic acid) supports the formation and maintenance of the skin barrier. Its anti-inflammatory properties help with problematic skin, and the high vitamin E content protects against free radicals and promotes cell renewal.
• Squalane or squalane oil (Squalane) is a lightweight, non-comedogenic, and non-greasy oil that leaves the skin silky soft. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents oxidation of the skin’s own fats. This regenerating oil helps prevent age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes the skin supple, and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration.
• Moth bean extract (Vigna Aconitifolia Seed Extract) is also known as natural vitamin A (retinol). It stimulates cell turnover and improves collagen synthesis. Efficacy tests have shown that natural vitamin A can combat the effects of aging. The plumping effect of the vitamin improves skin texture, making the skin appear fuller, smoother, and more even.
• Brown algae contains a high concentration of antioxidants, trace elements such as iodine, zinc, potassium, or beta-carotene, and bioactive compounds like alginic acid, ascorbic acid, or carotenoids. These bioactive components support cell renewal and promote clear, smooth, and soft skin. Antioxidants help combat damage caused by free radicals, and the amino acids, vitamins, and minerals found in brown seaweed stimulate elastin and collagen production.
• Indian Pennywort / Tiger Grass / Gotu Kola (Centella Asiatica Extract) – In Ayurvedic medicine, Indian Pennywort is also called "Tiger Grass" and is considered one of the most important medicinal plants. According to legend, wounded tigers roll in the leaves of the plant to promote better wound healing. Tiger Grass has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and regenerating effects on the skin. The plant promotes wound healing and collagen production. It is especially effective for mature skin care as it stimulates blood circulation.
• Rosehip Seed Oil or Wild Rose Oil (Rosa Canina Fruit Oil) is extracted from the fruits of the wild rose and is considered a very effective plant oil for skincare. The oil is rich in provitamin A, vitamins C and E, minerals, carotenoids, and polyunsaturated fatty acids. Wild rose oil fights free radicals, promotes skin cell renewal, and balances skin tone. The oil supports collagen production, is well tolerated, and is very suitable for dry, flaky skin, pigmentation spots, and scars. Acne-prone skin also benefits from its high content of anti-inflammatory linoleic and linolenic acids.
• Aloe Vera Extract / Juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract / Juice) provides natural moisture, prevents skin dryness, and strengthens the natural skin barrier. Aloe Vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and essential amino acids. It supplies the skin with oxygen and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. It binds moisture, has a cooling effect, and is anti-inflammatory and antibacterial.
• Cardamom (Elettaria Cardamomum / Amomum subulatum) promotes circulation and has mood-enhancing effects. The spice is rich in vitamin C and acts as a powerful antioxidant. Cardamom opens pores, and its astringent and antiseptic properties combat acne and pimples. It has firming and toning effects. Cardamom belongs to the ginger family. There are two main types: the green and black varieties. The green type is also known as true cardamom.
• Radish Root Ferment (Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate) is derived from fermented radishes. Usage

• The Adaptogen Body Oil Serum can be used in the morning and/or evening.
• Use the oil serum after showering or bathing. Ideally, the oil serum should be applied to slightly damp skin for best absorption. (Thanks to its 2-phase formula, it also works on dry skin.)
• Apply a few pumps of the body oil to slightly damp skin.
• Gently massage the body oil in. After just a few minutes, it is fully absorbed. Enjoy silky-soft skin!

It’s best to use the Body Oil Serum after your Dry Brushing Ritual. By removing dead skin flakes, the oil serum can absorb better and deliver its effects.

Is the oil serum also suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, the Body Oil Serum is suitable for sensitive skin: it is gently formulated and contains no alcohol, preservatives, or synthetic ingredients. The amount of essential oils is very low and therefore well tolerated.

We use ingredients of the highest quality and are water-free

In our Body Oil Serum, we use exclusively effective, natural ingredients of the highest quality: Our premium natural ingredients are - whenever possible - organic or wild-harvested.

We use gently cold-pressed, organic-certified active oils such as argan, wild rose, or sesame oil and avoid cheap filler oils like caprylic/capric triglycerides or sunflower oil*. The oil phase is rounded off with high-quality, bio-based squalane derived from sustainably grown sugarcane.

Instead of water, we use organic direct aloe vera juice. (Our serum contains only minimal amounts of water, as most plant extracts are dissolved in water).

We develop ourselves

Our Adaptogen Body Serum is an innovative in-house development that we worked on for many months in close collaboration with our experienced natural cosmetics laboratory. Such an in-house development is time-consuming and costly, which is why many brands resort to cheaper and faster-to-produce pre-made standard formulas. However, this is not an option for us, as our innovative formulation ideas can only be realized through in-house development.

*Our Body Oil Serum contains only a small amount of sunflower oil, as vitamin E is dissolved in it.
