Application

• The Good Night is applied similarly to a body cream.
• Take the desired amount of sleep cream well before bedtime and gently massage it evenly onto your neck, shoulders, or forearms.
• After about half an hour, the calming effect begins.
• Let yourself be inspired by the The Good Night ritual for your personal feeling of calm:
• Self-Care Step 1: Consciously spread the desired amount of cream on your clean palm.
• Self-Care Step 2: Breathe in and out deeply.
• Self-Care Step 3: Gently rub the cream between your palms to warm it. Focus your attention consciously on the light cream texture and enjoy the gentle scent that The Hug emits.
• Self-Care Step 4: Apply the cream with light massage movements to your lower abdomen and, if needed, also to the lower part of your back for at least 2 minutes. Concentrate on your body center and on perceiving your body's signals. Feel how the delicately melting consistency of the cream glides over your lower abdomen and back.
• Self-Care Step 5: Feel the relaxation setting in.

Active Ingredients

• Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – The high content of fatty acids makes the skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil has antibacterial properties, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B, E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It strengthens cell development and renewal, combats skin aging, and reinforces the skin's natural protective barrier. Also very suitable for hair and scalp care. By the way, jojoba oil is technically not an oil but a plant wax.
• Melatonin, the body's own sleep hormone, regulates if and when one becomes tired. As it gets dark outside, our body gradually releases melatonin because bedtime begins. But when sleep is hard to come by in the evening hours, gentle support with plant-based melatonin can benefit the body. Besides following calming rituals like reading a book, melatonin intake as an alternative to, for example, prescription sleep aids is playing an increasingly important role.
• Ashwagandha / Sleep Berry (Withania somnifera) is a staple of Ayurveda and is also called "Indian Ginseng." The sleep berry is known for its ability to calm, soothe, and strengthen the body. Ashwagandha can support various processes in the body. It can strengthen the immune system as well as support cognitive, hormonal, and neurological systems. Adaptogenic herbs and plants help maintain our body's balance.
• Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is obtained from the fruit of the Karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, the butter protects against environmental stress, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Grape Seed Oil (Vitis Vinifera Seed Oil) has a high content of linoleic acid and vitamins E and K. It is considered an oil with exceptionally strong antioxidant and cell-protective properties. The oil promotes skin elasticity, has anti-inflammatory properties, and regulates sebum production.
• Coconut Oil (Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil) protects the skin from damage caused by free radicals and premature skin aging. The high content of lauric acid gives the oil its antifungal and antibacterial properties. Coconut oil is comedogenic but still helps against impurities and is suitable for acne-prone and sensitive skin. It moisturizes and makes the skin supple.
• Essential Lavender Oil (Lavandula angustifolia (Lavender) oil) has a calming, cleansing, and antiseptic effect. The gentle oil consists of linalyl acetate and linalool and stimulates cell growth. The skin benefits from the increased blood circulation, and the antioxidants in lavender act as a natural anti-aging treatment. It has healing effects on inflamed skin and pimples.
• African Black Bean (Griffonia Simplicifolia Seed Extract) is said to naturally support our nervous system. The seeds contain L-5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP), which the body converts into serotonin. Serotonin is a multitasker from which the body can also produce the sleep hormone melatonin. Griffonia is said to have a relaxing effect, improve concentration, promote psychological resilience, and act as a pain reliever and mood enhancer.
