How to use

• In the morning and/or evening, after cleansing and applying a serum, apply an approximately pea-sized amount to the face, neck and décolleté.
• Gently massage in until the cream has been completely absorbed.
• For additional hydration, use Floral Essence beforehand. If your skin needs more lipids, mix a few drops of Everything Oil with the cream.
  

Active ingredients

• Bakuchiol (Bakuchiol) is an isolated plant-based active ingredient obtained primarily from the seeds of the South Asian Bakuchi or Babchi plant. It should be distinguished from bakuchi seed oil and bakuchi seed extract—for example, Psoralea Corylifolia Seed Extract. Bakuchiol is not chemically a retinoid or a form of vitamin A. However, it influences some similar processes in the skin and is therefore used as a plant-based retinol alternative. The active ingredient supports collagen structure, improves the firmness and elasticity of the skin, and can visibly reduce fine lines and rough or uneven skin texture. Its antioxidant properties also protect the skin from free radicals and premature light- and environment-related skin aging. Bakuchiol can also regulate melanin production and thereby reduce the appearance of dark spots, post-blemish marks and an uneven skin tone. Its antimicrobial and inflammation-modulating properties also make it interesting for blemish-prone skin.
• Silver ear mushroom extract is known for its water-binding polysaccharides and helps the skin retain moisture more effectively. As a result, the skin appears smoother, more supple and plumper, while dryness and feelings of tightness may be reduced. Tremella is also valued for its antioxidant properties and associated with a fresher, more even and more radiant complexion. As a plant-based humectant (also called botanical hyaluronic acid), it gives hydrating formulations a lightweight yet effective moisturizing effect.
• Ceramides are skin-identical lipids and form an essential part of the natural skin barrier. Cosmetic products contain various types of ceramides, such as Ceramide NP, Ceramide AP, Ceramide EOP, Ceramide NS or Ceramide NG. Together with cholesterol and free fatty acids, ceramides form the organized lipid matrix between corneocytes. This structure can be compared to the mortar between the bricks of a wall: It holds the skin barrier together, limits water loss and protects the skin from external irritants. Ceramides are not themselves antibacterial and do not automatically stimulate collagen production. Their strength lies in stabilizing the skin barrier and protecting against moisture loss and external stressors.
• Glycerin (Glycerin), also known as glycerol, is a natural component of the skin and one of the most established humectants in cosmetics. This sugar alcohol has a strong ability to attract water and bind it in the stratum corneum. As a result, glycerin increases the skin’s moisture content, reduces dryness and creates a smoother, softer and more elastic skin surface. It also supports the natural barrier function and the even shedding of dead skin cells. Formulations containing glycerin are particularly beneficial for dry, sensitive or skin stressed by cleansing and environmental influences. In creams, glycerin is often combined with replenishing lipids that help preserve the bound moisture in the skin over the long term.
• Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is obtained from the fruits of the shea tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a skincare and healing remedy. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E and beta-carotene, the butter protects against environmental stressors, binds moisture, combats free radicals, supports cell regeneration and leaves skin and hair soft and supple. 
• Rosehip seed oil or wild rose oil (Rosa Canina Seed Oil, sometimes also Rosa Canina Fruit Oil or Rosa Moschata Seed Oil) is obtained from the seeds or fruits of various wild rose species. The lightweight oil is rich in linoleic and alpha-linolenic acids, as well as tocopherols, carotenoids and phytosterols. It complements the skin’s lipid film, reduces moisture loss and supports the regeneration of dry, dull or stressed skin. Carotenoids and other antioxidant compounds promote a more even, radiant complexion and make the oil particularly interesting for uneven pigmentation and visible traces of past skin irritation. Rosehip seed oil smooths rough skin, improves its suppleness and is also suitable for mature and blemish-prone skin.
• Jojoba oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) is obtained from the seeds of the jojoba shrub. Chemically, it is not a classic plant oil but a liquid wax at room temperature, consisting primarily of long-chain wax esters. These resemble components of the skin’s natural sebum, spread particularly evenly and leave the skin feeling smooth and cared for. Jojoba oil strengthens the lipid film, reduces moisture loss and makes dry, rough or sensitive skin soft and supple. Its high oxidation stability makes it a versatile base for face, body and lip care. In hair, it smooths the surface, improves combability and shine, and conditions dry lengths and scalp.
• Aloe vera (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice / Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract) is obtained from the water-rich leaves of the desert plant. Depending on processing and concentration, the inner leaf gel contains, among other things, moisture-binding polysaccharides, amino acids, minerals, enzymes and antioxidant plant compounds. Aloe vera intensely hydrates the skin and helps retain water in the stratum corneum. The plant juice forms a lightweight film on the skin, reduces feelings of tightness and supports the natural skin barrier. Its cooling and soothing properties relieve visible redness and provide rapid relief for overheated, irritated or sun-stressed skin. Aloe vera is therefore particularly suitable for dehydrated, sensitive and irritation-prone skin, as well as for skincare products used after sun exposure or shaving.
• Zinc lactate combines the skincare properties of zinc with skin-friendly lactic acid. This mineral active ingredient supports the skin’s natural balance, has a balancing effect and is particularly suitable for skin prone to blemishes or an uneven appearance.
