Application

• Apply generously to cleansed skin.

Active Ingredients

• Indian pennywort / Tiger grass / Gotu Kola (Centella Asiatica Extract) – In Ayurvedic medicine, Indian pennywort is also called “Tiger grass” and is one of the most important medicinal plants. According to legend, wounded tigers roll in the leaves of the plant to heal wounds better. Tiger grass has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and regenerating effects on the skin. The plant promotes wound healing and collagen production. It is especially effective for mature skin care as it stimulates blood circulation.
• Bisabolol / Alpha-Bisabolol can be derived from the essential oils of chamomile and the wood of the Candeia tree. Bisabolol is very well tolerated and ideal for irritated or sensitive skin. Dry or blemished skin also benefits from its soothing and healing properties. Alpha-Bisabolol is antibacterial and can help with pigmentation spots. Bisabolol acts on melanocyte receptors to reduce irritation reactions, which can lead to decreased melanin synthesis. This process can reduce skin pigmentation and create a brightening effect.
• Ceramides are lipids (fats) naturally found in our skin. They form the basis of our skin’s barrier function. The skin barrier prevents harmful substances from entering the skin and keeps the skin well moisturized. A functioning skin barrier is essential for healthy skin. Ceramides reduce water loss from the skin, also called TEWL (Trans Epidermal Water Loss), protect against environmental stressors, bacteria, and other influences the skin is exposed to. Ceramides are therefore an effective anti-aging ingredient that also helps keep the skin smooth and soft.
• Peony root extract (Paeonia Lactiflora) is commonly used in traditional medicine in Korea, China, and Japan. Peony root has a diverse chemical composition, including essential oils, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, and polysaccharides. Peony is said to have toning, antioxidant, and line-reducing effects. Paeoniflorin, proanthocyanidins, and flavonoids can protect skin cells from environmental damage and aging. Additionally, the polysaccharides in peony activate cell activity.

• Borage seed oil (Borago Officinalis (Borage) Seed Oil) stimulates cell growth and has anti-inflammatory properties. It has positive effects on acne, psoriasis, and atopic dermatitis. The oil is rich in gamma-linolenic acid (omega-6 fatty acids) and vitamin C, moisturizes, and strengthens the skin’s protective barrier.
• Evening primrose oil (Oenothera biennis (Evening Primrose) oil) soothes the skin, makes it more supple, and slows moisture loss. The high content of omega-6 fatty acids as well as vitamins and minerals have regenerating and healing-promoting effects. It relieves itching and helps against atopic dermatitis and psoriasis. Dry, rough, scaly, and inflamed skin especially benefits from the nourishing properties of the oil.
