The Fig + Feijoa Repair & Nourish Conditioner strengthens dry, damaged, and color-treated hair, making it softer and protecting against breakage. The formula provides intensive care without relying on silicones, giving more smoothness, substance, and a healthier-looking hair appearance.

At the core of the Repair & Nourish line is Black Maca / PROTECSYL®. Originating from the foothills of the Andes, black Maca supports the keratin structure, protects hair proteins, and gives the Repair line its strengthening focus. Avocado oil, Harakeke extract, and rosemary extract complement the formula with nourishing plant ingredients for dry and stressed hair.

• Black Maca / PROTECSYL® is the bioactive key ingredient of the line. The complex supports stronger, healthier-looking hair, promotes the keratin structure, protects hair proteins, addresses split ends, and helps maintain color.
• Avocado oil supplies dry, stressed hair with nourishing lipids, making it smoother and supporting a sleeker, softer hair texture. At the same time, it can make the hair fiber more resilient, helping to reduce breakage.
• Harakeke Flax binds moisture, softens the hair, and improves combability. As a hair-conditioning agent, Harakeke supports a smoother, more supple, and shinier hair appearance, making it ideal for dry, stressed hair.
• Rosemary extract complements the formula with antioxidant and balancing properties. Rosemary stimulates the scalp and protects hair from oxidative stress.
• The base of Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Glycerin, and Shea Butter gives the formulation its creamy, nourishing texture. At the same time, the haircare line is free from silicones, SLS & SLES, parabens, and artificial fragrances.

The Repair & Nourish line was tested in a large in-vivo usage study. 155 participants used shampoo and conditioner together; after two weeks, 90% described their hair as less frizzy, 85% as healthier-looking, and 82% as more nourished. These results refer to the combined use of shampoo and conditioner.

The scent combines fig, feijoa leaf, pear, and cedarwood. This makes the conditioner fresh, green, and modern, with a clear, slightly woody signature.

Usage

• Apply to wet lengths and ends after washing, distribute evenly, leave on for 1 to 3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Active Ingredients

• Black Maca / PROTECSYL® forms the bioactive core of the Repair & Nourish line. The rare Maca plant comes from the foothills of the Andes and is used in Antipodes haircare to make hair appear stronger and healthier. The ingredient supports the keratin structure, protects hair proteins, and is especially targeted at brittle, split-end-prone, and color-treated lengths.
• Peptides are small proteins made up of several amino acids. There are many different peptides that perform various functions in the body. They are involved in regulating cell growth and repair and the formation of (larger) proteins such as keratin, elastin, or collagen. This makes them a valuable and well-tolerated ingredient in skincare to combat premature aging, fine lines, and sagging structures. Some peptides also have anti-inflammatory properties and help reduce blemishes like pimples and blackheads.
• Rosemary Extract (Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Extract) – The medicinal plant from the Mediterranean region promotes circulation and has mild antibacterial effects. Mature skin benefits from the circulation-boosting effect. Impure skin can be balanced by rosemary. In haircare, rosemary stimulates scalp circulation and thus improves nutrient absorption. It promotes hair growth and regulates sebum production.
• Manuka Honey (Mel / Honey / Leptospermum mel (manuka honey) extract) – Due to its uniquely high methylglyoxal (MGO) content, Manuka honey has particularly anti-inflammatory and antibacterial effects. Natural honey is antiseptic and antimicrobial, helping to cleanse the skin and thoroughly eliminate bacteria. Honey contains gluconic acid, a mild alpha hydroxy acid that brightens and fades age spots. Raw honey is enriched with a variety of nutrients such as vitamin B, manganese, iron, potassium, and calcium. When mixed with water, honey releases peroxide properties that help heal acne and inhibit bacterial growth. Additionally, honey is a humectant that provides moisture to the skin and supplies it with a wealth of nutrient-rich enzymes.
• Behentrimonium Methosulfate is a plant-derived conditioning agent (mostly based on rapeseed oil) that smooths, detangles, and reduces static in hair. This makes dry, stressed hair softer, more supple, and easier to comb.
• Shea Butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is obtained from the fruit of the Karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta carotene, the butter protects against environmental stress, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Avocado (persea gratissima oil / fruit extract) is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, proteins, copper, folic acid, and magnesium – all building blocks for healthy skin and hair. Due to its high phytosterol content, it spreads easily and absorbs quickly. It supports the skin’s moisture balance, protects it from drying out, and helps prevent wrinkles. In haircare, it adds shine, moisturizes dry, brittle, and damaged hair, strengthens it, and repairs damage.
• Coconut protects the skin from damage caused by free radicals and premature aging. The high lauric acid content gives the oil its antifungal and antibacterial properties. Coconut oil is comedogenic but still helps with blemishes and is suitable for acne-prone and sensitive skin. It moisturizes and makes the skin supple.
• Betaine (Betaine, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Trimethylglycine, Glycine Betaine) is a natural amino acid derivative obtained from molasses (e.g., sugar beet). Depending on its form, betaine is used in skincare or as a surfactant. In skincare, betaine acts as a conditioner, soothes irritation, and protects against dryness. It has strong moisturizing properties. In cleansing products, it stabilizes foam; as an additive in shampoos and conditioners, it strengthens hair, adds volume, and increases hair grip.
• Glycerin – This sugar alcohol is part of the body’s natural moisturizing system. Lipids (fats) in the skin are made up of glycerin and fatty acids. Glycerin has a hydrating effect and helps prevent water loss. It also stabilizes the skin’s barrier function.
