Key Ingredients

• Coconut Oil & Shea Butter form the rich nourishing base for dry, porous, and stressed hair. Due to its high lauric acid content, coconut oil has a particular affinity for hair protein and can penetrate the hair fiber. Studies show that it can reduce protein loss in both healthy and damaged hair. Shea butter coats the hair surface, improves softness, and helps dry lengths and ends appear softer and smoother.
• Marshmallow Root & Slippery Elm Bark are rich in plant mucilage, which gives the hair exceptional slip. They help loosen knots more gently, make detangling easier, and thereby reduce mechanical stress during combing. This is especially valuable for curls and dry, porous, or easily tangled hair. The Innate Life specifically uses both plants as natural detangling ingredients.
• Argan, Almond & Jojoba Oils nourish the hair fiber with softening lipids and provide more shine and a softer feel. Argan oil supplies oleic and linoleic acids as well as vitamin E, while almond oil keeps dry lengths soft. Jojoba is a liquid plant wax that lightly coats the hair surface and helps reduce frizz and a rough feel.
• Behentrimonium Methosulfate is an effective conditioner and one of the ingredients that explains the mask’s immediate conditioning effect. It reduces static, improves combability, and makes the hair softer, smoother, and shinier. Especially for stressed or curly hair, it helps reduce friction and pulling during detangling.
• Chia Seed & Sacha Inchi Seed Extract complement the intensive conditioning with plant-based antioxidants and lipid-rich seed compounds. Sacha Inchi is generally characterized by a particularly high content of alpha-linolenic acid and linoleic acid, as well as tocopherols; chia is also known for its polyunsaturated fatty acids. In the hair mask, the extracts primarily support the care of dry, stressed lengths and complement the rich oil and butter base.
• Amla, Bhringaraj, Brahmi & Tulsi form the Ayurvedic-inspired herbal complex of the mask.
