Active ingredients

• Edelweiss is a soothing, anti-inflammatory plant that provides UV protection. Bioavailable phytochemicals such as chlorogenic acid, luteolin, bisabolol derivatives and beta-sitosterol have antiseptic and antioxidant properties. Contains important amino acids for healthy hair and a healthy scalp.
• The neem tree is one of the most important medicinal plants in Ayurvedic medicine and has been used as a remedy for thousands of years. Because of its diverse effects, neem is also known as the village pharmacy. The plant contains more than 100 active compounds, including azadirachtin, nimbin and limonoids, with powerful antioxidant, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Neem is excellent for caring for problem skin or the scalp. It soothes dry, irritated and cracked skin and restores its natural elasticity. Neem naturally leaves skin smooth and supple, promotes full, strong, shiny hair and helps counteract itching and dandruff.
• Amla / Amalaki (Phyllanthus Emblica Officinalis Fruit Extract/Oil) is described in the Charaka Samhita as “the best rejuvenating substance of all”. Amla, also known as Indian gooseberry, contains oleic acid, vitamin E and an extremely high vitamin C content (many times that of a lemon), giving it powerful antioxidant properties. Amla is reputed to have excellent cell-protecting properties. The fruit is said to stimulate hair growth, help prevent hair loss and counteract premature greying. It also has a positive effect on split ends, breakage and lack of strength. Amla benefits the appearance of the skin, stimulating collagen production and tightening the skin.
• Turmeric / Kurkuma / Gelbwurz (Curcuma Longa) has a powerful antibacterial effect and fights germs, bacteria and viruses on the skin. It is well suited to problematic skin. Turmeric also promotes circulation and regulates sebum production in the skin and scalp.
• Sunflower oil (Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil) is rich in linoleic acid, antioxidants and vitamin E. It supports wound healing, has an antibacterial effect and helps the skin regenerate. The oil combats skin impurities with vitamins A and D. It is readily absorbed and does not clog the pores. For the hair, it is a natural moisturiser that strengthens the hair, promotes growth, eliminates frizz and adds shine.
