Active Ingredients

• The yam root / Root of Light (Dioscorea Batatas Extract) is a white root with small white flowers that have a slight cinnamon scent. It is used as a medicinal plant in traditional South American and Asian medicine. The root is full of vitamins and cell-protecting antioxidants. It contains potassium, zinc, manganese, copper, and iron, stimulates the skin’s metabolism, and gives it a natural radiance.
• Hyaluronic acid (Hyaluronic Acid / Sodium Hyaluronate) can hold moisture up to 1000 times its weight. Hyaluronic acid is a main component of connective tissue, filling and supporting it. Due to its ability to bind large amounts of water, it is responsible for the skin’s moisture content. Hyaluronic acid also promotes skin firmness and elasticity. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is one of the main causes of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill in fine lines and plump the skin.
• Lavender water/hydrosol (Lavandula Angustifolia Flower Water) nourishes and tones the skin, has a calming and balancing effect, and soothes skin irritations, redness, and itching. It has larger molecules than hyaluronic acid and mainly acts on the upper skin layer, while hyaluronic acid works in the deeper skin layers. PGS inhibits the enzyme hyaluronidase, which can reduce the skin’s natural hyaluronic acid content with age.
