Application

• Gently apply to cleansed facial skin in the morning or as needed.
• Apply toner beforehand and then your favorite serum. For example, the Resurrect Facial Toner and the Hosanna Intensive Skin Plumping Serum.

Active Ingredients

• Squalane or squalane oil (Squalane) is a lightweight, non-comedogenic, and non-greasy oil that leaves skin silky soft. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents oxidation of the skin’s own fats. This regenerating oil helps prevent age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes the skin supple, and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration. It is mostly derived from olive oil, less commonly from rice bran or wheat germ oil. For cosmetics, squalene is converted into squalane. Squalane no longer contains unsaturated compounds and is therefore oxidation-resistant and longer-lasting. Incidentally, squalane was originally obtained from shark liver, hence the name. Squalus is the Latin name for shark.
• Shea butter (Butyrospermum parkii (shea) nut butter) is obtained from the fruit of the karité tree. Shea butter has a long tradition as a care and healing agent. Rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vitamin E, and beta-carotene, the butter protects against environmental stress, binds moisture, fights free radicals, promotes cell regeneration, and makes skin and hair soft and supple.
• Rosehip seed oil, wild rose oil (Rosa Canina Fruit Oil) is extracted from the fruit of the wild rose. It effectively supports skin regeneration. Rich in vitamin C, minerals, beta-carotene, flavonoids, and malic acid, it helps with pigmentation spots and scars, supports skin elasticity, and balances skin tone. It also benefits flaky, mature, and dry skin.
• Macadamia nut oil (Macadamia Ternifolia (Macadamia) Seed Oil) provides intense moisture and cares for dry and cracked skin. The beneficial mix of unsaturated, healthy fatty acids and the high content of vitamins and trace elements have earned the macadamia nut the name “queen of nuts.” The oil is non-comedogenic and absorbs quickly into the skin.
• Manuka honey (Mel / Honey / Leptospermum mel (manuka honey) extract) – natural honey is antiseptic and antimicrobial and helps cleanse the skin and thoroughly eliminate bacteria. Honey contains gluconic acid, a mild alpha hydroxy acid that brightens and fades age spots. Raw honey is enriched with a variety of nutrients such as vitamin B, manganese, iron, potassium, and calcium. When mixed with water, honey releases a peroxide property that helps heal acne and inhibits bacterial growth. Additionally, honey is a humectant that supplies moisture to the skin and provides it with a wealth of nutrient-rich enzymes.
