What is Genmaicha?
“Genmaicha” means in Japanese (玄米茶) “brown rice” and “tea”; it is a traditional Japanese green tea preparation with roasted brown rice. Brown rice (Genmai) is roasted and popped, then blended with classic Sencha. This gives Genmaicha a distinctive character with a warm, malty roasted flavor reminiscent of toasted grains or fine coffee aromas. The whole is then refined with a handpicked blend of Ayurvedic herbs!
- There are so many types of tea that we only wanted to create something new if it was truly special. Something we fell in love with. It took a long time (and hundreds of cups of tea!), but finally, we found these perfect blends.

Usage
- Use about 1 teaspoon of tea per cup. Pour over with hot water.
