Active ingredients

• Jojoba oil (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) – Its high fatty-acid content makes skin soft, supple, and resilient. The oil has antibacterial properties, absorbs quickly, and contains vitamins B and E, minerals, and beta-carotene (provitamin A). It supports cell development and renewal, helps counter skin aging, and strengthens the skin’s natural protective barrier. It is also excellent for hair and scalp care. Incidentally, jojoba oil is technically not an oil but a plant wax.
• Vitamin E / Tocopherol enables long-lasting moisture retention between the cells. This powerful antioxidant neutralizes harmful free radicals and may inhibit oil oxidation, thereby helping prevent blackheads. Vitamin E also promotes cell regeneration and strengthens the natural function of the skin’s protective barrier.
• Calendula / Marigold (Calendula Officinalis Flower Oil / Extract) belongs to the daisy family and is particularly known for its anti-inflammatory, soothing, and wound-healing effects. It also promotes collagen production and helps produce new tissue, an important process in wound healing, while carotenoids strengthen the skin’s protective barrier. It is very well tolerated and suitable for baby skin. Secondary plant compounds known as flavonoids have antioxidant properties and protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals.
• Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) contains flavonoids, potassium salts, saponins, and up to 10% silicic acid. This acid is an essential building block of skin tissue and promotes skin renewal, elasticity, and firmness. Horsetail stimulates blood and lymph circulation and supports supple, smooth skin. Horsetail is a very ancient plant species that, together with ferns and clubmosses, covered vast forests around 350 million years ago.
• Squalane or squalane oil (Squalane) is a lightweight, non-comedogenic, non-greasy oil that leaves skin silky soft. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore readily absorbed by the skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents oxidation of the skin’s own lipids. The regenerative oil helps prevent age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, softens the skin, and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration.
• Licorice root extract (Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract) has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It is known for its skin-smoothing and itch-relieving effects. It is often used for inflamed, irritated, and sensitive skin. Its ability to combat viruses and bacteria makes licorice an effective and popular skincare ingredient.
• Turmeric / Curcuma / Golden Root (Curcuma Longa) has a strong antibacterial effect and combats germs, bacteria, and viruses on the skin. It is well suited to problematic skin. Turmeric also promotes circulation and regulates sebum production.
