Key active ingredients

• Vitamin C Tetra / Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate (15%) is an oil-soluble and particularly stable form of vitamin C. It has antioxidant properties, supports collagen synthesis, and helps reduce pigmentation irregularities and create a more even-looking skin tone. Clinical studies with ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate show improvements in hyperpigmentation, skin texture, and signs of photoaging – ideal for dull, uneven, and maturing skin.
• Astaxanthin is a highly potent antioxidant carotenoid that RUHI obtains from red rain algae. It helps neutralize free radicals and protects skin lipids and structures from oxidative stress caused by UV light and other environmental stressors. Astaxanthin has also been well studied for skin elasticity, hydration, and visible signs of aging, making it a particularly valuable complement to vitamin C.
• Gotu Kola / Centella Asiatica contains triterpenes such as asiaticoside, madecassoside, and asiatic acid. These plant compounds support collagen structure, have antioxidant properties, and promote firmer, more resilient-looking skin. Especially when elasticity is declining or the skin appears stressed, gotu kola complements the effects of vitamin C and astaxanthin very effectively.
• Ginkgo Biloba is rich in flavonoids and other polyphenols with antioxidant properties. The extract supports the skin’s protection against oxidative stress and contributes to a more vital and smoother-looking complexion. Initial human studies with topical ginkgo formulations also show positive effects on skin texture and visible fine lines.
• Squalane & Plum Kernel Oil form the serum’s silky lipid base. Squalane complements the skin’s natural protective barrier, reduces moisture loss, and creates a silky skin feel. Plum kernel oil provides oleic and linoleic acids as well as antioxidant compounds, making dry or rough skin soft and supple; its natural almond-like scent also characterizes the serum’s distinctive aroma.
• Vitamin E, sunflower & safflower oil complement the formula with antioxidant and lipid-nourishing properties. Vitamin E protects skin lipids from oxidative stress while also stabilizing the sensitive plant oils. Linoleic acid-rich sunflower and safflower oils support the skin’s natural lipid barrier and help retain moisture in the skin.

Directions

• the Adaptogen Vitamin C Oil Serum can be used in the morning and/or evening.
• Cleanse your skin thoroughly. 
• Dampen your skin with water or a mild toner such as rose water. The oil serum should always be applied to slightly damp skin, as this helps it absorb best.
• Now apply 4–5 drops of the oil serum to your damp skin.
  Gently massage in the oil serum. It will be fully absorbed within just a few minutes. Enjoy your silky-soft, radiant skin!

• After opening, the oil serum will keep for at least 6 months.
  After that, the effectiveness of the active ingredients may gradually decrease.
• Vitamin C Tetra is a stable form of vitamin C. Nevertheless, the serum should be protected from direct sunlight and stored at no more than 25 degrees.
