Active Ingredients

• Squalane or squalane oil is a lightweight, non-comedogenic, and non-greasy oil that leaves skin silky soft. Squalane is a natural component of our skin barrier and is therefore very well absorbed by our skin. It protects the skin from moisture loss and prevents oxidation of the skin’s natural fats. This regenerating oil helps prevent age spots, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, makes skin supple, and promotes oxygen supply and cell regeneration. Salt & Stone sources it from plant-based, sustainable sugarcane.
• Hyaluronic Acid (Hyaluronic Acid / Sodium Hyaluronate) retains moisture up to 1000 times its weight. Topical hyaluronic acid forms a thin, viscoelastic surface film that locks moisture on the skin’s surface and helps smooth the skin and increase elasticity. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is a main cause of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill in fine lines and wrinkles and plumps the skin.
• Algae extract contains a high concentration of antioxidants, trace elements such as iodine, zinc, potassium, or beta-carotene, and bioactive compounds like alginic acid, ascorbic acid, or carotenoids. These bioactive components support cell renewal and promote clear, smooth, and soft skin. Antioxidants help combat damage from free radicals, and the amino acids, vitamins, and minerals in seaweed stimulate elastin and collagen production.
• Aloe Vera Extract / Juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract / Juice) provides natural moisture, prevents skin dryness, and strengthens the natural skin barrier. Aloe vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and essential amino acids. It supplies oxygen to the skin and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. It binds moisture, has a cooling, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial effect.
• Snow Mushroom (Tremella Fuciformis (Snow Mushroom) Extract) acts like a plant-based form of hyaluronic acid and is therefore also called botanical hyaluronic acid. The snow mushroom extract is chemically very similar to hyaluronic acid and has equally strong moisturizing and water-binding properties.
• Glycerin – This sugar alcohol is part of the body’s natural moisture system. Lipids (fats) in the skin are made up of glycerin and fatty acids. Glycerin has a hydrating effect and helps prevent water loss. It also stabilizes the skin’s barrier function.
• Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) – supports the synthesis of lipids and ceramides essential for the skin’s barrier function. It improves skin texture and evens out uneven skin tone. The vitamins also help with hyperpigmentation and redness. Niacinamide can regulate sebum production and reduce overproduction. This makes pores appear smaller and less “stretched.” Due to its antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, niacinamide can also positively influence inflammation and moderate acne.
• Betaine (Betaine, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Trimethylglycine, Glycine Betaine) is a natural amino acid derivative obtained from molasses (e.g., sugar beet). Depending on its form, betaine is used in skincare or as a surfactant. In skincare, betaine acts as a conditioner, soothes irritation, and protects against dryness. It has strong moisturizing properties. In cleansing products, it stabilizes foam; as an additive in shampoos and conditioners, it strengthens hair, adds volume, and improves hair grip.
