What is Cellulose Acetate?
The Sasstie product range consists of 98% cellulose acetate. Unlike plastic, resin, or synthetic materials, this material is based on natural and renewable raw materials such as the pulp of fruits and vegetables. In reaction with acetic acid, cellulose acetate is formed. This relatively new raw material from renewable and natural sources is 100% plant-based and free from animal by-products.
The material is a high-end raw material for premium accessories, as cellulose acetate is extremely durable due to its quality and robustness. Cellulose acetate is resource-efficient, environmentally friendly, resilient, not easy to break, and made from renewable, natural, and sustainable raw materials.
