The Pear Hair Claw by Coucou Suzette is making a little comeback: Originally designed in 2022, the pear design has been reinterpreted and gains even more depth and shine through the specially patterned cellulose acetate. The almost life-size shape, shimmering green color, and tiny golden dots make the hair claw look almost like a small jewelry pear.

The sturdy acetate teeth grip the hair well and reliably hold half-up hairstyles or a quickly twisted bun in place. It works with different hair lengths and textures; for very thick or coarse hair, it is particularly well suited to partial styles. Coucou Suzette was founded in 2016 by Parisian illustrator Juliette Mallet. For her, animals, plants, food, and small everyday observations become colorful accessories with plenty of humor and French charm.

What is cellulose acetate?

Cellulose acetate is a plant-based and more sustainable alternative to conventional petroleum-based plastic. It starts with natural cellulose, which is processed into a robust and durable material. It is particularly well suited to hair accessories: It is hard-wearing, pleasantly lightweight, and enables the characteristic colors, shimmering effects, and individual patterns of Coucou Suzette designs. Cellulose acetate is also classified accordingly in your existing Coucou Suzette collection as a more sustainable, plant-based alternative to conventional plastic.

We carefully process and package your order in our warehouse in Reutlingen. Processing usually takes within 48 hours. As soon as your order has been handed over to the shipping service provider, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking. After handover to DHL, the shipping time within Germany is usually 1–3 business days.

The shipping costs 4.95€; for orders over 60€, we offer free shipping within Germany.

International orders are shipped depending on the destination country and package size with DHL International or Deutsche Post Warenpost International Premium. The available shipping methods and costs are shown at checkout. Shipping time depends on the destination country, chosen shipping method, and customs clearance.

Returns: You can return unopened, unused, and undamaged products within 14 days of delivery. For returns within Germany, we provide a return label for 5.95€ upon request. Returns from abroad must be organized and paid for by the customer.

We package carefully, lovingly, and environmentally friendly. The box, filling material, and greeting card are made from recycled paper, and even the packing tape can be disposed of in the paper recycling bin.
