• Since the Middle Ages, yarrow (Achillea millefolium) has been known as a classic medicinal plant in Europe. The plant has astringent and anti-inflammatory properties, which especially benefit oily, impure, and inflamed skin. During wartime, yarrow was used as a so-called "soldier's herb" as a blood-stopping agent. There were hardly any wound infections because yarrow has remarkable antiseptic properties.
  
• Chamomile extract (Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Leaf Extract) has a calming, relaxing, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing effect. Impure skin benefits from its clarifying effect. Extracts of the plant stimulate skin metabolism and promote cell regeneration. Suitable for sensitive skin.
• Calendula (Calendula Officinalis Flower Oil / Extract), from the daisy family, is especially known for its anti-inflammatory, soothing, and wound-healing effects. It also promotes collagen production and helps generate new tissue (an important process in wound healing), and carotenoids strengthen the skin’s protective barrier. Very well tolerated, also suitable for baby skin. Secondary plant substances, the so-called flavonoids, act as antioxidants and protect the skin from damage caused by free radicals.
• Rose distillate (Rosa Damascena (Rose) Flower Water), also called rose flower water or hydrolate, is obtained from rose petals and has soothing, astringent, and cleansing properties. It stimulates blood circulation in the fine capillaries, helps minimize the appearance of scars, micro-wounds, sunburn, and wrinkles. Naturally and delicately scented with the aroma of roses.
