The moisturizers coconut oil, olive oil, and shea butter nourish the skin and protect it from drying out. Bamboo activated charcoal is also rich in silicon, which can promote skin elasticity and moisture. Bamboo wood vinegar acts antibacterial and has a balancing effect on the skin.

Usage

• Ideal for daily facial cleansing.
• Lather the soap well and wash the face with the foam.
• Then rinse the face thoroughly with lukewarm water.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Continue facial care with a serum, a natural facial oil, moisturizer, care for the eyes, lip care, or night care.

Active Ingredients

• Bamboo activated charcoal is produced under exclusion of air. The bamboo charcoal is "activated" during the reaction with other substances at over 700 °C. The resulting activated charcoal has a highly porous structure and thus a high absorption capacity. Its ability to bind substances such as bacteria and pollutants makes activated charcoal so attractive. In cosmetics, activated charcoal is used to cleanse and disinfect the skin and to combat skin impurities. Bamboo activated charcoal is the base and colorant of the BINU Bamboo Charcoal Facial Soap.
• Olive oil was already used in ancient Greece to care for dry skin. It is considered to promote blood circulation and stimulate. Olive oil has a high oleic acid content, which provides protective and moisturizing functions. The oil leaves a light film and is absorbed gradually by the skin. Therefore, it is excellent for dry and brittle skin. Olive oil is one of our base oils for soap production.
• Shea butter is obtained from the nut of the karité tree. The rich butter cares for the skin through its re-fatting, soothing, and smoothing properties. Therefore, the butter is recommended for dry and stressed skin. Shea butter is a consistency agent for the mild Binu soaps.
• Coconut oil – also called coconut fat due to its solid consistency below 23 °C – is extracted from the flesh of the coconut. Coconut oil is very rich in lauric acid and saturated fatty acids. Lauric acid has a strong antimicrobial effect. The oil absorbs quickly and superficially while providing good re-fatting. Coconut oil is one of our base oils for all BINU soaps.
• Bamboo wood vinegar is obtained by smoke distillation during the production of bamboo activated charcoal. It is said to have a positive effect on skin impurities because vinegar acts disinfectingly. Bamboo wood vinegar is included in our Bamboo Charcoal Soap.
• For the production of our natural soaps, we use especially pure Hinoki water, the aqueous solution of the steam distillate from Hinoki wood. The Japanese cypress species is rich in phytoncides. Plants produce these substances to keep pathogens and pests away. These antimicrobial agents can also be very beneficial for the skin’s protective system.
