The Essential Balm Cleanse is more concentrated and initially has a silky, balm-like oil paste texture. It combines the massage experience of a balm with the easy removal of an emulsifying cleansing oil.

Does the balm also remove sunscreen and makeup?
Yes. Oil-soluble residue such as foundation, sunscreen, and sebum is particularly easy to dissolve with the oil phase. For very heavy or waterproof eye makeup, a separate eye makeup remover may be useful depending on the product.

Why is an oil-based cleanser also suitable for oily skin?
