The micellar water is based on moisturizing organic aloe vera, organic witch hazel, organic rose flower water, skin-firming hyaluronic acid, and soothing Nordic peony.
Usage
- Apply to a cotton pad and gently wipe over face, eyes, and lips.
- No rinsing with water needed.
- Continue with facial care using a serum, a natural facial oil, moisturizer, care for the eyes, lip care or night care .
Active Ingredients
- Aloe Vera Extract / Juice (Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract / Juice) provides natural moisture, prevents skin dryness, and strengthens the natural skin barrier. Aloe vera contains vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and essential amino acids. It supplies the skin with oxygen and is considered effective in supporting cell renewal. It binds moisture, has a cooling, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial effect.
- Hamamelis / Witch Hazel (Hamamelis Virginiana Leaf Extract) – witch hazel leaf extract helps remove excess oil, is anti-inflammatory, and balances the skin’s pH. Known to reduce acne and tighten the skin. Natural healing properties for a clearer complexion.
- Rose distillate (Rosa Damascena (Rosa) Flower Water), also called rose (flower) water, is derived from rose petals. Rose distillate has soothing, astringent, and cleansing properties. It stimulates blood circulation in the fine capillaries, helps minimize the appearance of scars, micro-wounds, sunburn, and wrinkles. Naturally and delicately scented with the aroma of roses.
- Peony root extract (Paeonia Lactiflora) is commonly used in traditional medicine in Korea, China, and Japan. Peony root has a diverse chemical composition, including essential oils, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, and polysaccharides. Peony is said to have toning, antioxidant, and line-reducing effects; paeoniflorin, proanthocyanidins, and flavonoids can protect skin cells from environmental damage and aging. Additionally, the polysaccharides in peony activate cell activity.
- Hyaluronic Acid (Hyaluronic Acid / Sodium Hyaluronate) stores moisture up to 1000 times its weight. Hyaluronic acid is a main component of connective tissue, filling and supporting it. Due to its ability to bind large amounts of water, it is responsible for the skin’s moisture content. Hyaluronic acid also promotes skin firmness and elasticity. As we age, we lose our natural hyaluronic acid, which is a primary cause of wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid helps fill fine lines and plump the skin.
