Antibacterial Korean rice wine and skin-soothing rice bran form the base of the Rice Wine Facial Soap from Binu. The special feature of this handmade facial soap is the included gently exfoliating rice particles and fermented Korean rice wine (Makkoli).

Due to its low alcohol content of 6-8%, Makkoli has a clarifying effect on the skin. In addition, it supplies the skin with vitamins B and C as well as valuable Lactobacillus bacteria.

The Rice Wine Facial Soap reliably removes makeup, dirt, and excess sebum from the skin without drying it out. Glycerin and selected plant oils ensure that no tightness occurs during or after cleansing.

Usage

• Ideal for daily facial cleansing.
• Lather the soap well and wash the face with the foam.
• Then rinse the face thoroughly with lukewarm water.
• Avoid contact with eyes.
• The soap is also suitable for body cleansing and as a shaving soap.
• Continue your facial care with a serum, a natural facial oil, moisturizer, care for the eyes, lip care or night care.

Active Ingredients

• Sunflower oil is extracted from the seeds of the flower. The oil has a high linoleic acid content and is a light and mild nourishing oil. Sunflower oil is one of our Binu base oils.
• Olive oil was already used in ancient Greece to care for dry skin. It is considered to promote circulation and stimulate. Olive oil has a high oleic acid content, which provides protective and moisturizing functions. The oil leaves a light film and is absorbed gradually by the skin. Therefore, it is excellent for dry and brittle skin. Olive oil is one of our base oils for soap production.
• Shea butter is obtained from the nut of the karité tree. The rich butter nourishes the skin through its re-fatting, soothing, and smoothing properties. Therefore, the butter is recommended for dry and stressed skin. Shea butter is a consistency agent for the mild Binu soaps.
• For the production of our natural soaps, we use especially pure Hinoki water, the aqueous solution of the steam distillate from Hinoki wood. The Japanese cypress species is rich in phytoncides. Plants produce these substances to keep pathogens and pests away. These antimicrobial agents can also be very beneficial for the skin’s protective system.

• Rice bran oil (Oryza sativa bran oil) is extracted from the fat- and vitamin-rich rice bran, which consists of the fruit wall and seed coat of the rice grain. The oil contains a lot of vitamin E and essential unsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids (linoleic acid, linolenic acid, myristic acid). It is a light, fast-absorbing oil that soothes irritated and dry skin conditions. It is also frequently used for sensitive or barrier-disturbed skin.
• Rice extract (Oryza Sativa (Rice) Extract) – Rice has a high content of antioxidants, polysaccharides, omega-3 fatty acids, and micronutrients. Pores can be refined by rice extract and the skin revitalized. Rice extract has a clarifying and anti-inflammatory effect, soothes, and reduces irritation.
